High-Yield Investment Program (HYIP)
A High-Yield Investment Program (HYIP) using bitcoin tend to be funds.
Where an investment company will perform high yield quick investments with the pooled money from the investors.
Then the HYIP will share the profits with everyone invested.
These programs are very risky to invest in, but also reward high yields (profits) in return.
Many of them can be a scam or just run out of luck and lose everyone's money.
Scam HYIP websites will try to lure enough investors in with early high yield profits, then once enough people are invested close down without paying out or returning the investors money!
HYIPS are very risky and we have lost most of the money ever tested with them if held longer then 30 days with a HYIP.
The best recommendation is to put in only small amounts of bitcoin that you can afford to lose and get your original investment plus 10 percent of the profit out as early as possible.
That way you are only risking the profits with the continued high risk exposure.
Then monitor every week to watch out for the company having issues not paying out profits to investors.
Once a large enough group of people think it is a scam, even if it is not.
It will create a stampede of people wanting to withdraw all at once.
Which may force the investment group to close.
Most HYIPS seem to go out of business very quickly!
They provide profits for only 60 to 180 days then suddently close down with your invested money gone!
That being said, if you want to take the time to monitor weekly and assume the risks.
Then here are some links on the current HYIPS and the status of them.
